This 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is number 2109 in the limited production run of 3000 cars, and is now available from MAXmotive. Only 132 of those 3000 Demons were finished in Yellow Jacket paint. This special collector package includes this SRT Demon, The 432 actual miles means that this like-new example has not been raced. (Not yet broken in!) Yes, part of the fascinating and useful information in the Demon Tips and Demon Supplement included with the Owner’s Package is that such exclusive performance features as the Drag Mode, Line Lock, and Launch control are unavailable until the odometer reaches 500 miles. Thus, a proper break in for the bespoke 6.2L Supercharged HEMI V8 SRT engine is assured before any attempts to unleash its unparalleled potential 840 horsepower.
The car is striking with its Yellow Jacket exterior paint and the contrasting – and optional – Painted Black Satin Graphics Package. Other options ordered on this car (other than all the seats) include the 18-speaker Premium Audio System with a Harman Kardon GreenEdge amplifier, and the helpful Demon Vehicle Storage Package, which provides you with a car cover and a Mopar battery manager.
The amazing Demon Crate comes with it too, with such goodies as skinny front drag wheels, a Snap-on floor jack, and the special ECM that allows the use of 100 octane fuel to generate 840 horsepower. (The Demon will produce a more-than-respectable 808 horses on 93 octane.) The idea is that one person can perform the operation of transforming the Demon to a drag car, go racing, then convert it back and drive home. All the tools and equipment necessary can be stored in special mounts in the trunk.
